School Clubs and Extracurricular Activities


Alma2DC
Alma2DC is organized by Mrs. Justine Fox, Social Studies teacher at Donald L. Pavlik Middle School. This activity provides an opportunity for middle school 7th & 8th grade students to travel to Washington D.C. The trip usually occurs in September. For more information, contact Mrs. Fox.

Fuel Up to Play 60 Board
Fuel Up to Play 60 is a fun interactive program that allows students to decide how to make their school an even healthier place. Students put their ideas and plans into action to help everyone eat healthy and get active. Fuel Up to Play 60 asks students to make a commitment to get 60 minutes of physical exercise daily.  For more information, contact Mrs. Snearey or Mrs. Bailey.

Mentoring Program
The Explore After School Program has a strong mentoring component that matches students on a one to one basis with volunteers to help students succeed.  For more information, contact Mrs. Susan Smoker.

Ski Club
Students interested in Ski Club have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skill of skiing. The program runs for 6 weeks during the winter. 

Student Council
Student Council provides opportunities for students to learn and demonstrate organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.  Students have planned various activities and assemblies throughout the school year.  For more information, contact Mrs. Deb Goffnett.

Tech Club
Members of the Technology Club have the opportunity to expand their knowledge about technology and to explore various computer software programs.  Past activities include designing and building web sites, robotics, script writing and movie production, computer programming, and Flash animations. The club meets every 1st, 3rd, & 5th Tuesday, from 3:15-4:00 p.m. in room 54. The club's current membership is 10. For more information, contact Mrs. Barb Leonard.

Jazz Band
Students desiring to participate in Jazz Band must also be enrolled in Instrumental Music.  Audition or teacher approval is required.  Students are expected to attend and participate in all scheduled performances and rehearsals.  The course is offered before school and will meet outside the normal school day.
